Greensboro shortstop Dan McKnight had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Charleston RiverDogs, 7-4. Greensboro reliever Jody Watkins picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Julián Árias was saddled with the loss. Greensboro is now 19-14, while Charleston is 20-13.

Steve Bishop came through with a big-time hit for Greensboro. The center fielder smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 6-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said McKnight.
