Lexington pitcher Cam Sellers had a large part in his team subduing the Asheville Tourists, 5-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. The win puts Lexington at 12-21.

Lexington used a timely hit from José Fernández to get the win. The pinch hitter delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Legends on top, 5-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Legends manager Brad Lincoln.
