Delmarva designated hitter Manolo Rosales made his presence felt in the 5-4 Shorebirds triumph over the Greenville Drive. Rosales was 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The win went to Tim Davis in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Kevin MacMonies took the loss. Robinson García was called on to finish, recording his 12th save.

Bernardo Álvarez went 2 for 3 with 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch for Delmarva. The 22-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the ninth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Kevin MacMonies. It was his 16th walk of the season.

"It feels good to get this one," Rosales told the Delmarva News.
