Koch, Shorebirds March to 8-1 Victory
The Delmarva Shorebirds finished off the Lexington Legends, 8-1. Much of the credit belonged to designated hitter Jimmy Koch. Koch threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball for the Shorebirds. With the win, Delmarva upped its record to 28-11.

Manny Salinas chipped in a 3-run home run for Delmarva in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 3 runs batted in.

"The vibe's good," said Delmarva manager Tripp Keister. "We've got to keep it going."
