The Kannapolis Intimidators took on the Hagerstown Suns at Municipal Stadium.

Aurelio Thompson never let Hagerstown get something going. The Kannapolis right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Intimidators to a 4-0 win. The win elevated the Intimidators to 22-19.

Thompson gave Kannapolis a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits over 7 innings.

"Aurelio -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Intimidators manager Carlos Mota. "He was the key to us winning."
