Legends Snatch 2-1 Win
The Lexington Legends earned a close win over the Rome Hammers, thanks in part to Cam Sellers. The Lexington right-hander, who is tied for 3rd in the SAL in complete games with 1, played a key role in the 2-1 victory. Sellers yielded 1 run over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 4, and struck out 5. His record improves to 3-3. Jack Masson nailed down his 10th save.

César López was 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI for Lexington. The 24-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Jesús Martínez. It was his 4th RBI of the season.

"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Legends manager Brad Lincoln. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."

The Legends now have a record of 16-27 with the win over Rome.
