The home crowd had a good time watching the Delmarva Shorebirds and Kannapolis Intimidators get after it.

Intimidators shortstop Jeff Picot left his imprint on his team's 15-2 win over the Delmarva Shorebirds. Picot went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 3 for Kannapolis in the contest. Kannapolis raised its record to 30-23 with the win.

Don Nealon helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-0, Intimidators.

"We didn't help ourselves, it's as simple as that," said losing manager Tripp Keister.
