Murillo, West Virginia Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
Spirited fans greeted the Hagerstown Suns for their clash with the West Virginia Power.

The West Virginia Power racked up a win at Municipal Stadium, bumping off the Hagerstown Suns, 2-0. Héctor Murillo, who started for West Virginia, pitched effectively for his team. Jeremiah Wheeler notched his 9th save of the season.

Murillo ran roughshod over the Hagerstown lineup. The right-hander allowed just 4 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 9. With the victory, he goes to 4-5 on the season.

"I went after the hitters," said Murillo. "No pussyfooting around."

The losses continue to mount for Hagerstown, which has now dropped 8 in a row.
