Martínez, Intimidators Get 7-2 Win
Kannapolis turned a good performance from starting pitcher Freddy Martínez into a 7-2 triumph over the Delmarva Shorebirds at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. The triumph puts Kannapolis at 30-25 for the season.

The Shorebirds had their hands full with Martínez, who overpowered Delmarva hitters while racking up 12 strikeouts.

"Got a lot of swings and misses today," said Martínez.
