Lexington Legends starter Joe Anderson was on his game, helping his team beat the Asheville Tourists, 3-2. With the win, Lexington raised its record to 31-25.

Lexington got a clutch hit from Jeff Corrigan. The third baseman launched a solo home run in the bottom of the 13th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a kill shot.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Corrigan.
