Augusta right-hander Jake Cooper pitched his team to victory over the Savannah Sand Gnats at Grayson Stadium. The final score was 3-2. Jerry White nailed down his 8th save. The GreenJackets go to 23-37 with the win.

The GreenJackets got a big at-bat from center fielder Paullo Brtolo. For the game, Brtolo was 1 for 5 with a triple. In the top of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 4th triple of the season gave Augusta a 1-0 lead.
