GreenJackets Pull Out Late-Game Win, 1-0
The Augusta GreenJackets topped the Rome Hammers, 1-0, in 17 innings at Lake Olmstead Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Augusta pitcher Dave Allen. The GreenJackets improved their record to 26-38 by beating Rome.

Allen delivered a quality start for Augusta. The 6-foot-3 left-hander allowed no earned runs on 2 hits over 7.1 innings of work.
