Charleston pitcher Greg Saunders did his part in helping his team beat the Lexington Legends, 6-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. After today's action, Charleston sits at 32-35; Lexington slips to 27-40.

Charleston designated hitter Jorge Cantú helped the RiverDogs go up, 4-3, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Cantú hit a run-scoring single off Lexington pitcher Luis Hernández.
