Hickory Sends Hagerstown Packing with 6-3 Loss
The Hickory Crawdads topped the Hagerstown Suns, 6-3, in South Atlantic League action at Municipal Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Hickory pitcher and Ft. Payne, Alabama, native Víctor Sánchez. Ty Rudhart earned the save for Hickory, his 1st. Today's win puts Hickory at 30-41, while Hagerstown falls to 31-40.

With one out in the top of the ninth, José López had a game-changing hit. The Crawdads first baseman slammed a 2-run single off Jesús Valdéz, making the score 6-3, Hickory.

"Winning never gets dull," said López.
