The Lakewood BlueClaws beat the Kannapolis Intimidators, 10-2, at First Energy Park. Lakewood first baseman Don Crouch had an outstanding performance. He went 3-5 with 3 doubles. He drove in 4 runs. Lakewood pitcher Mike Savage got the win. He's now 3-3. Raúl Hernández was tagged with the loss. The victory gives Lakewood a record of 46-29.

Zach Mills, who is tied for 8th in the SAL in stolen bases with 15, helped out the Lakewood cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the center fielder was 1 for 2 with a walk.
