Asheville Gets 4-3 Road Win
The Asheville Tourists knocked off the Savannah Sand Gnats, 4-3, in South Atlantic League action at Grayson Stadium. Asheville pitcher and San Carlos, Venezuela, native Jesús Luna had an outstanding performance. Asheville has won 5 straight, while Savannah has lost 4 in a row.

Asheville used the hitting of Jamie Goodwin to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Tourists on top, 4-3. For the game, Goodwin had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

Said losing manager Tyler Colvin: "Not taking anything away from them, but we swung the bats better than what it showed."
