Ramos Shines in 7-1 Delmarva Win
The Delmarva Shorebirds topped the Hagerstown Suns, 7-1, in South Atlantic League action at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Delmarva designated hitter Jon Ramos. After today's action, Delmarva sits at 44-41, while Hagerstown falls to 36-49.

Reginald Ross had a big bases-clearing triple for the Shorebirds in the bottom of the third inning. With Delmarva leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a cutter from 22-year old right-handed pitcher Chris González and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Shorebirds ahead, 4-0.

"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Ross.
