Legends Win with Late Heroics
Lexington Legends starter Daryl Johnson turned in a sterling performance against the Asheville Tourists, leading his team to a slim, 3-2 win. Dan Butler picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 5-5. Ron Scott was tagged with the loss. Lexington is 41-47 and Asheville, with the loss, 43-45.

The decisive blow was delivered by Kevin Keese in the bottom of the 14th when he hit a run-scoring double off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Ron Scott to win the game for Lexington. The home crowd went nuts.

"That was a backyard tug-of-war," said Legends manager Brad Lincoln.
