Grasshoppers Collect 5-4 Win Versus Lakewood
The Greensboro Grasshoppers trumped the Lakewood BlueClaws, 5-4, at First Energy Park. Greensboro catcher José Ornelas was terrific. He was 2-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. Greensboro leads the Northern Division by 3 games.

There was more than one reason the Grasshoppers beat the BlueClaws, but Ornelas's big at-bat in the top of the second was an important factor. He staked his team to a 1-0 lead when he hit a run-scoring single.

"We're trying to go out there and win games," Ornelas told the Greensboro Times, "and we played pretty well tonight."
