Kannapolis Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
2026 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Hagerstown Suns.

Jeff Picot was a vital contributor to the 5-4 Kannapolis victory over Hagerstown. The Intimidators second baseman went 2 for 3 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. The win boosted Kannapolis to 56-44.

The decisive blow was delivered by Lou Wilson in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run double off 21-year old left-handed pitcher Beau Brooks to win the game for Kannapolis. The home crowd went nuts.

Picot told reporters after the game: "Close wins always feel extra good."
