Shorebirds Drop 7-3 Decision to Intimidators
With designated hitter Jorge Romero leading the charge, the Kannapolis Intimidators defeated the Delmarva Shorebirds, 7-3, at CMC-NorthEast Stadium. Romero went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Kannapolis pitcher Garry Disney got the win. He's now 4-0. Jesús De Jesús was tagged with the loss. By defeating Delmarva, the second-place Intimidators improved to 63-49.

Second Baseman Lou Wilson made an impact for Kannapolis, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Jesús De Jesús in the bottom of the fourth. For the contest, Wilson was 2-5 with a double.

"I still think this team can play even better," Romero told the Kannapolis Bulletin.
