Starting pitcher Loren Camacho took care of business, helping the West Virginia Power stifle the Lexington Legends, 3-1. Camacho got the win, improving to 9-6. He gave up 5 hits and walked 0 over 5 innings. He allowed no runs. Reggie McClain earned the save, his 6th in 9 tries.

West Virginia used the timely hitting of Wes Hurst to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Power on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Hurst.

The win lifted the West Virginia record to 65-53.
