A 4-RBI performance from Jerry Franklin, who is tied for 4th in the SAL in stolen bases with 13, helped the Hickory Crawdads beat the Hagerstown Suns, 11-9. Hickory is now 65-63. Hagerstown is 33-95.

With Hickory leading 7-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Franklin came up to bat against Hagerstown pitcher Jorge Cruz. Franklin hit a splitter to left for a grand slam home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Crawdads on top, 11-2.

"Wild game," said Franklin after it ended.
