Intimidators Fall Short, 7-6, at West Virginia
The West Virginia Power besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Kannapolis second baseman Lou Wilson by beating the Intimidators, 7-6, at Appalachian Power Park. Wilson went 4-5 with a triple and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs. Getting the save was Loren Camacho, his 2nd. The third-place Power have won 4 in a row.

West Virginia right fielder Robby Johnson helped the Power go up, 7-6, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Johnson hit a run-scoring single off Kannapolis pitcher Jorge Romero.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Power manager German Melendez. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
