Little Hits 2 home runs in Crosscutters Win
A good performance from left fielder Ben Little helped the Williamsport Crosscutters defeat the Auburn Doubledays, 7-4. Little went 4-5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4 for the Crosscutters. Williamsport reliever Wilson Cuevas picked up the win to move to 1-0. Ted Ervin suffered the loss. The defeat makes Auburn 4-9.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Steve Mendoza came to bat in the top of the eighth. Facing Auburn pitcher Ted Ervin, he hit a 1-2 slider for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Williamsport on top, 5-4.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Little said after the game.
