Blue Jays Clip Rangers, 4-3, in R2 Contest
The DSL Blue Jays got a strong game from starter Luis Ayala, but it was some clutch hitting that ultimately delivered the win.

The Blue Jays took the 4-3 win over the DSL Rangers in Game 4 of the Round 2 in a 12th inning walk-off. The win capped off a fine outing for the right-handed Ayala. Ayala threw 6.0 innings allowing 2 runs in the win, which brought the Blue Jays into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.

The decisive blow was delivered by Juan Gonzáles in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a run-scoring double off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Curt Potter to win the game for DSL. The home crowd went nuts.

"It was a good effort all around," said Ayala.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Saturday, October 17th , 2026.
