Astros Blue Advance to Division Series
Ron Hall said his team performs best when their backs are against the wall.

In a one-game playoff, that's certainly the case and the Houston 1 (DSL) Astros Blue proved their worth by beating the Detroit (DSL) Tigers by a score of 5-4 at Houston Astros Complex Orange in the Wildcard Series.

"We don't give up, we don't panic, we just get the job done when it matters," said Hall, who backed up his talk with a 2-for-3 performance that earned him MVP honors.

Houston 1 (DSL) will look to continue its strong play in the face of adversity when it advances to the Wildcard Series.

The Houston 1 (DSL) Astros Blue don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Atlanta (DSL) Firebirds - New York N 2 (DSL) Mets 2 series. That series has not started yet. The Division Series schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes.
