The Lansing Lugnuts racked up a win at Cooley Law School Stadium, bumping off the Bowling Green Hot Rods, 4-0. Leo Adams, who started for Lansing, pitched effectively for his team. With the win, Lansing upped its record to 69-66.

The Hot Rods had their hands full with Adams, who overpowered Bowling Green hitters while racking up 11 strikeouts.

"Really good pitchers have that ability to raise their game when they need to," said Lansing manager Corey Ragsdale.
