The DSL Rangers scored a convincing win at Texas Rangers Complex, defeating the DSL Athletics, 11-0. One of the hitting stars was 19-year old shortstop Jimmy Gaines who went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Yat-sen Guao notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits in 4 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. DSL is now 5-5.

Dan Miller went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for DSL. The 24-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jeff Melton. It was his 3rd walk of the season.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Miller told the DSL Daily.
