Fernández Pops Two Homers in 10-7 Win for DSL
DSL center fielder Rodrigo Fernández had a 5-RBI game, which helped his team beat the DSL Athletics, 10-7. DSL reliever Mike McKinney was credited with the win. His record goes to 1-0. Jorge Jiménez took the loss for DSL. DSL is off to a hot start at 9-2.

With DSL leading 6-5 in the bottom of the third, Fernández hit a screwball from José Romano for a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Rangers ahead, 10-5.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Fernández told the DSL Daily.
