The Colorado (DSL) Rockies topped the Los Angeles (DSL) Dodgers, 4-2, in Dominican Rookie League action at Colorado Rockies Complex. The standout performance belonged to Colorado (DSL) pitcher and Guatire, Venezuela, native Juan Valadez. The win puts Colorado (DSL) at 4-6.

Colorado (DSL) went up, 4-2, on José Pérez's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Pérez hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Los Angeles (DSL) pitcher Juan Santana shaking his head.
