Wet weather did not postpone the Los Angeles (DSL)-New York N (DSL) ballgame.

Los Angeles (DSL) Dodgers starter António Rodríguez was in the groove. He led his team to a win over the New York N (DSL) Mets 1, 2-1. The save was credited to Juan Pesqueda, his 1st.

José Barajas had a big run-scoring double for the Dodgers in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Los Angeles (DSL) leading 1-0 and a runner on 3rd, he got a curveball from Esteban García and swatted a double to left. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dodgers ahead, 2-0.

"António was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Los Angeles (DSL) manager Nick Blackburn.
