Milwaukee (DSL) starter Ernie Cole pitched well against the Texas (DSL) Rangers at Milwaukee Brewers Complex. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-3, in 10 innings. With the win, the Brewers hiked their record to 10-7.

The Brewers got a clutch hit from second baseman Rob Holloway. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Brewers.

"This is a resilient bunch," said Milwaukee (DSL) manager Homer Bailey.
