Marlins Tuck Away 6-2 Win Over DSL
|
The DSL Blue Jays went down to defeat to Gerrit Bischoffshausen and his DSL teammates. The final score was 6-2, in favor of the Marlins. Juan Júlio claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. His record stands at 3-1. The triumph makes DSL 4-10.
Marços Lenidas went 1-3 with 2 walks for DSL. The 21-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Tony Ramos. It was his 3rd walk of the season.
"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said DSL manager Raymond Nunez.
