Blue Jays Need Extra Frames to Get Past Yankees
Despite a fine performance by center fielder David Chacón, the DSL Yankees lost to the DSL Blue Jays, 12-10, in 10 innings. Chacón was 5-6 with 2 home runs, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 5 times and driving in 3. The Blue Jays, now 15-11, know that wins in August count the same as wins in September.

DSL used the clutch hitting of Juan Gonzáles to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a 2-run double in the top of the tenth inning to give the Blue Jays the lead, 12-10. For the game, Gonzáles had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
