Powered by Junior Ramírez, the Chicago A (DSL) White Sox downed the New York N 2 (DSL) Mets 2, 6-5. Ramírez was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the White Sox. With the win, the White Sox hiked their record to 20-12.

Ramírez had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 2-0 cutter from Robinson López, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the White Sox a 6-5 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Ramírez.

"Good, gritty kind of win," said White Sox manager Carlos Mota.
