Larson Goes 5-for-5 Against DSL
DSL catcher Tim Larson could do no wrong in his team's 9-3 win over the Giants, as he collected 5 hits.

"Things were in his favor in every one of his at-bats," Giants skipper Hank Conger said to the press corps after the game. "He got hitters' counts."

Larson agreed, saying that getting ahead early in the counts was "the key" to his game.

"Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit," he said. "You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready."

Tim Larson hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Mauro Barbosa in the 4th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.

This season, Larson is swinging the bat at a .462 rate with 30 hits in 65 at-bats. To date he has hit 6 home runs, scored 20 runs and driven in 18.
