Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown DSL Twins take on the DSL Rangers.

Norm Rainey led DSL to a win over DSL. The final score was 10-2. The third baseman had a huge performance. He whacked 3 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 2 doubles. By defeating DSL, the first-place Rangers improved to 17-8.

Early in the game, Rainey had a 3-run home run for DSL. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Rangers on top, 3-0.

"We didn't help ourselves, it's as simple as that," said losing manager Grant Dayton.
