The DSL Astros went down to defeat to Chris Metcalf and his DSL teammates. The final score was 5-0, in favor of the Giants. With the win, DSL pushed its record to 17-9.

It could have been a different outcome for DSL, had it not been for Chris Duncan, the 19-year old first baseman . Duncan contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put DSL up, 1-0.

Duncan expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
