The DSL Giants could not turn a fine performance from designated hitter Josh Miller into a win. Instead, the DSL Astros prevailed, 8-5. Miller was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs. José García wrapped it up, recording his 8th save. The Astros have an impressive 18-9 record.

Octávio Villalobos had a big 2-run triple for the Astros in the bottom of the fourth inning. With DSL leading 3-2 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from Edgardo Cardemas and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Astros ahead, 5-2.
