DSL Gets 5-3 Win Versus DSL in 10
|
The DSL Diamondbacks got a superb performance from pitcher Jerry Rogers, but the DSL Marlins still won the game, 5-3. Rogers threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Raúl Bave picked up the win in relief for DSL, while Sergio Cruz took the loss. The Diamondbacks, at 14-20, have lost 4 in a row.
DSL got a clutch hit from Ernesto Martínez. The third baseman launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.
"The house was rockin'," said Martínez.
