The Oakland (DSL) Athletics and Los Angeles (DSL) Dodgers left the fans buzzing.

The Oakland (DSL) Athletics got a superb performance from pitcher Jimmy Smith, but the Los Angeles (DSL) Dodgers still won the game, 4-3. Smith threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball. Los Angeles (DSL) goes to 22-21, Oakland (DSL) to 24-19.

Mitch Schneider was the walk-off hero for Los Angeles (DSL). With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Dodgers designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
