5 times is the charm -- at least for Danny Griffin.

The Cleveland (DSL) Guardians shortstop tore up the New York N 2 (DSL) Mets 2 to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Cleveland Spiders Complex. The offensive onslaught from Griffin powered the 8-4 Guardians win.

"Griffin was a tough out," New York N 2 (DSL) manager Phillip Wellman said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."

Danny Griffin singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Greg Thompson in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
