The Atlanta (DSL) Firebirds defeated the Seattle (DSL) Mariners, 5-3, in part because of center fielder José García. García was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Firebirds. José Ruíz picked up the win in relief for Atlanta (DSL), while Kevin MacRury took the loss. Atlanta (DSL) has won 7 straight, while Seattle (DSL) has lost 3 in a row.
