Mets 2 Topple Athletics with Late Rally
The New York N 2 (DSL) Mets 2 beat the Oakland (DSL) Athletics, 3-2, at New York Mets Complex. The Mets 2 got a fine performance from right fielder Chet Wanner, who belted 2 home runs. Robinson López snagged the win in relief. He goes to 5-1 on the season. Ánibal Aguilar suffered the loss. The Mets 2 have now won 5 straight.

Wanner had an important at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the eighth, when he hit a solo home run. The Mets 2 went on to win.

Wanner called the win "a collective effort."
