Cubs Prevail, 4-2, Over DSL
The DSL Cubs earned a win at New York Mets Complex, stopping the DSL Mets, 4-2. Starting pitcher Sammy Madden played a big role in his team's success. Steve Hood notched his 17th save in 19 chances. DSL now has a record of 34-28 with the win.

DSL used a clutch at-bat from Doug Stone to capture the win. The shortstop hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Cubs ahead, 4-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Stone.
