2-1 Loss Extends Washington (DSL) Losing Streak
Washington (DSL) got a terrific performance from pitcher Ron Cooper, but it wasn't enough to beat the Houston 2 (DSL) Astros Orange. Houston 2 (DSL) won the Las Américas Complex contest, 2-1. Cooper threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Ernesto Madrid picked up the win with 6 innings of work. He allowed 1 run on 8 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 7. On the season, he is now 2-6. Joe Williams earned the save for Houston 2 (DSL), his 1st of the year.
