Walt Ellis impressed in the 13-7 Baltimore (DSL) win over Chicago A (DSL). Ellis, who is tied for 10th in the DSL in RBI with 54, hit 2 home runs, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 6. Baltimore (DSL) reliever Corazon Centeno picked up the win, while Obiniana Vega took the loss for Chicago A (DSL). Tynan Brown earned the save for Baltimore (DSL), his 4th of the year.

With Baltimore (DSL) leading 6-4 in the bottom of the fourth, Ellis hit a fastball from José Delgado for a 3-run home run. It was his 15th home run of the season and put the Orioles 1 ahead, 9-4.
