Washington (DSL) Loses Again, 2-1
Chicago A (DSL) pitcher Ron Davis had a large part in his team beating the Washington (DSL) Nationals, 2-1. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The winning pitcher was Davis, now 3-3. He tossed 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 5. Randy Rafferty locked down his 4th save.

The Nationals had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the White Sox going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 22-year old right fielder Chris Bow came to the plate. Bow hit a solo home run on a full count fastball from Washington (DSL) hurler Myron McCain. It was Bow's 5th home run of the year.

"The White Sox earned it," said Washington (DSL) manager Eduard Santos. "Hats off to them."
