Though the conditions were not ideal, the New York A (DSL) Yankees 1 and St. Louis (DSL) Cardinals came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

The New York A (DSL) Yankees 1 locked up a win at Las Américas Complex, knocking off the St. Louis (DSL) Cardinals, 7-1. On the mound for New York A (DSL) was left-hander Eddie Jordan. He played a major role in the triumph. The Yankees 1, at 30-37, have now won 8 straight.

The Cardinals had little chance against Jordan, who overpowered St. Louis (DSL) hitters and struck out 12.
